Almenara's patented LED platform delivers more than 275 lumens per watt — twice the efficacy of the current commercial state-of-the-art — through a proprietary optical and thermal architecture.

The principle.

A conventional LED loses more than half of its electrical input to heat at the emitting surface, limiting both luminous output and lifetime. Almenara's architecture redirects that thermal load away from the diode, allowing it to operate at its thermodynamic optimum. The result is more light, less heat, longer life — without exotic materials or changes to the host luminaire.
